From time to time I will updates this shortlist with the most noticeable AI tools.
Obviously there are so many out there, and hubs such as There’s an AI for That, AIXploria and Future Tools have the most updated archive, but most of the time I find them overwhelming.
So to keep it simple, I chose what is the most relevant for my needs, and ignored services that were not working good enough at the moment (like all the presentations AI tools). With only minimal information, and no direct comparison, as there are already great articles out there about each tool and benchmarks for each vertical (I admit I enjoy to watch on youtube comparisons between the latest video models, every few months you can find something new that will blow your mind).
Also, it’s impossible to conclude what is the best AI tool, as it depends on your specific needs, the use case, the context, and things just keep changing rapidly.
And remember, it’s only the beginning! 🤖
LLM (Chatbots)
Still most people are using ChatGPT as default, but you should also take a look on Cluade. Each model has few variations, with different aspects of speed and efficiency (value for money).
Important thing to remember - they look smart, but they are just machines, stupid cold steel with screws and bolts that running statistical tools. They are great for many things, from creative ideation to general knowledge, but if you need information with verified sources, complex calculations or just somebody to talk with (that won’t suddenly suggest you to kill yourself), there are better solutions.
